What is art rock? What makes Pink Floyd an art rock band?

check answers see if has contribute, first (only) 1 long read, , paste, so... basically, art rock, combines statement supplements music. first shows , floyd combined light show , etc. act create image experience enhance music on "visual" level. went on lasers, props, theme, etc, create total "experience". art rock! audio , visual, story line boot! lot of bands toured behind "concept" album did this, , wanted see whole vision of more songs themselves.
