Connecting my printer to my computers

on pc control panel>printers right click printer click share printer give name go laptop start button>printer>add printer select network , click find , should show run through rest of steps

i have printer connected main computer has windows xp , have laptop connected network, want know how can print documents off laptop without connecting directly printer laptop windows vista , printer compatible both.
