Better singer for Dream Theater?

if don't know of dream theater, don't answer.
question is: think made better singer dream theater, charlie dominici (made 1 album them "when dream , day unite"), or james labrie (replaced charlie , made rest of albums)?

think both made great singers of labrie's songs can make voice bit irritating.
dominici, on other hand had great voice in every song on cd produced them. sounds bit singer rush.
