Is it harder to make friends if you commute to university?

harder make friends @ uni if commute. you'll have make effort make friends.

there other commuter students on campus. uni may have commuter lounge, or commuter club. suggest join club, , hang out in lounge. that's first step.

also, join @ least 1 club - preferably more - you're interested in, , genuinely participate. means doing more showing @ meetings. volunteer stuff them - doesn't matter what. involved, , time, friendships develop.

if want make friends quickly, join sport club, drama, or band/chorus, role playing games, etc. sorts of clubs tend require high , frequent participation levels, , make friends more quickly. involved - can shy - don't have act on stage in drama! volunteer paint sets or something. that's speed. it.

instead of staying in halls, because i'll stay @ home , uni train every day. i'm worried though i'll miss out on lot because of , find difficult make friends (i shy also)
