Toyota makes roaring noise after cranked?

well, not entirely sure "roaring" noise referring to, sounds possibly higher idle? typically when starting engine idles little high warm quicker reduce emissions. when vehicle put gear puts "load" on engine, therefore removing higher idle. hope helps!

i have 2005 toyota 4runner (4.0l v6) makes loud roaring sound when cranked; however, after 15 seconds (or so) or if put gear, noise level goes down significantly. know normal on toyota, want know why happens.
