depends on state...and can depend on county, or studio. states law 18 without parental/legal guardian's consent, , @ least 16 parental consent.

states/counties/studios not allow under 18 tattooed parental consent.


example.. in va can tattooed or pierced under 18 parental consent long on 16.

in nc, however, can not tattooed under 18 parental consent...but can pierced.


thumbs down correct information? know va & nc laws have worked in both , unless has changed in last 9 months...that correct information.
