Small Claims court - Suing a business which address to use when I file?

if suing in small claims court, business must have presence in state. therefore have send complaint address of business in state.

secretary of state not forward complaint out-of-state business.

i contacted office of secretary of state , have correct owners name address secretary of state not physical address of business. should use physical address of business or address on file secretary of state?
