Thumping or Thudding coming from 2004 Mazda 6. Any ideas what would cause it?

have 2004 mazda 6. there little on 60,000 miles on there. (mostly freeway). got new tires around 40,000 , new breaks around 50,000. both replacements of originals. when drive down road car began make thudding/thumping sound. i'm not sure cause is, seems in unison rotation of tires. faster go faster thudding becomes , vice versa .kind of dud....dud....dud...dud..dud.dud.dududud... haha.. appreciated. taking mechanic next saturday (today thursday) should concerned may further damage things?
