How far is Heathrow from London, and is it hard to commute between them?

can commute it's take @ least hour each way on tube. faster more expensive on heathrow shuttle train have go airport on train.

better option 2 or 3 star hotel in central part of london not right in main central districts. should deal , find enjoy stay more.

i looking visit london 5 days , seems of cheaper hotels near airport. important me stay in central london, or can reasonably commute , forth without wasting of short visit?
