know how things on ancestry.com , other places, have decided looking things , jotting down info on tree charts means nothing if have no sources. i've decided start (my kids) , go backwards , collecting documents tie together. i'm wondering of do? know (or try anyway) birth, death , land records, else keep use sources prove john smith son of nick smith? have lists out there?
