Will a 1989 2.8 Chevy Cavalier motor fit in my 1984 Pontiac Fiero 2m4? ?

have 1984 pontiac fiero in mint condition minus motor lock on me while ago. love car allot , more sits, more trashy becomes. car never seemed peppy enough when drove wondering else stick in engine bay other 4 cyl needs rebuilt. have 2.8 v6 motor out of 1989 chevy cavalier z24 needs rebuilt too. question this, body know sure motor work out perfectly? don't want spend money rebuilding v6 find out doesn't fit in car. know allot fiero v6's later years , im not interested in those. v6 block have looks lines automatic transmission in fiero but... know little more go off of. have done wirering? motor mounts? knows cavaliers , fiero's?
