understand in acting business working actors , working actresses there 2 different types: union work , non union work. understand part.

not know or understand if film or movie or tv show not made unions (sag, aftra) automatically , considered non union, correct? example me , buddys making movie have script , ready. (by no means affiliated actors union) not sag (screen actors guild) or aftra (american federation of television , radio artists). dozen friends purchased 6 cameras wal-mart. if make movie cheap cameras maybe cost $100 each, hollywood cameras cost $100,000 each. if make movie , film live at, in neighborhood considered "non union" movie. , difference between indie movies (independent films) , non union movies. non union movies considered indies , vice versa.

also, feature length non union films shown at, played on tv or sold on dvd. , there popular non union films or tv shows. indie films? can send in our movie or tv series in agent played on tv once finished, though not union associates?
