If you're parents are US citizens and you are born in the US, are you still a citizen without state documents?



in cases, 1 u.s. citizen if both of following true:

1. both parents u.s. citizens @ time of child's birth
2. @ least 1 parent lived in united states prior child's birth.

* evidence fulfilled necessary residency requirements, or excused doing because didn't know law.
