Service Vehicle Soon light in a 200 Pontiac Grand Am GT?

driving car not long earlier today, , "service vehicle soon" light came on. didn't think of it, pretty sure different check engine light in 2000 pontiac grand gt (v-6 ram air.) safe though, went gas station, filled tank way (not gallon short of full) , put in fuel injector cleaner. afterwards, light went away. live in michigan too, , below freezing today, , had little more quarter tank of gas before filled when first started it. have been oxygen sensor issue, check engine light? or sort of coincidence?
