i'm guessing .5 .75 seconds slower manual. it's @ start suffers lag. once going, auto has fewer gears acceleration should start catch up. plus without having let off gas shift, don't lose spool between shifts. had 02 wrx auto. after getting higher flowing turbo exhaust , getting tuned, car every bit fast manual stop. faster roll.
