Volkswagen Golf Speakers Question (Pics)?

hey, have volkswagen golf. it's n registration think means 1996?

bought alpine cd reciever (cde-988r), , speakers fitted in car 2 crappy speakers set in dashboard. , front , door speaker compartments seem empty.

recommended alpine speakers bloke @ halfords fitted cd player. said keep crappy dashboard ones now, , put pair of nice alpines in doors, , when want to, rid of 2 crappy front ones , put 2 nice ones in front doors.

can of tell me should go for? don't know in-car audio. i'm not sure size speaker put in door compartments.
