I don't understand this financial aid thing?
once fill out fafsa, possible after january 1 of each year, nothing except meet requirements of maintaining grades, status in school etc, keep aid.
if classes 'dropped' because told aid "did not go through", need bottom of problem, , need assertive financial aid office representatives.
do: make appt meet director of financial services @ school. inquire happened aid, why happened, each of need resolve it, , when resolve portion, options in meantime.
not: assume can trust financial aid office / , representatives. remember, 'new' @ job @ point, make mistakes, , financial aid office staff no different. if financial aid representative made mistake in computer, timeline, or way 'coded' aid, could've been sent department of education / loan provider.
when can't hold of in financial aid office give answers, sign of 'internal' problem affected aid. happens . . know, happened me (my grant $$ sent due error financial aid rep made - - - - long story short, lost grant $$ because can't time problem discovered, had take out unsubsidized loan 4k).
more assertive role take in managing financial aid / monitoring financial aid office, less problems you'll have. remember, it's money you're trusting other people manage - - more reason learn requirements
, timelines set forth doe (dept of education), school :-).
go em!
what do each semester apply financial aid?
