Can one rely on facts based on history?
absolutely. history repeats itself. in fact, there's infinite number of examples -- far more can here in q&a. precisely why study history's subject matter frequently. government great example. while can't predict future, history can both learn our mistakes, aid in prevention, , plan future.
it's bad not enough people pay attention history. academic, or in our simple lives, perhaps wouldn't repetitively make same mistakes.
wouldn't suggest fiction, poetry, , literature more reliable history itself, however, subjects have contributed great deal. in other words, they've played role in history. hope makes sense.
best wishes , yours!
