How do I trace my gradmother's side of a family tree?

grandmother's name dorothy may monroe (thats maiden name). father's name clifford b. monroe, mother's name leota may cochran (maiden name again). i'm not totally sure if spelled leota's name right. have family tree features these names? grandma dorothy said grandmother's maiden name jones, wasn't able give me first name, or married name. grandma said related anderson family somewhere.
