Help! I just painted my bathroom and now the paint is peeling off!?

kinda stuck, describing means paint failed (did not adhere surface underneath, no scrapping isnt necessary need pull loose paint , float out rough edges mud or spackle if dont watch lines show up. use primer or flat paint first coat wall paint wont flash in spots spackled. lets talk reasons paint fail see problem , able fix it, gonna list common ones , solutions

1 painted on semi-gloss paint , new paint did not stick, in case need pole sand entire wall give tooth , rough ultre smooth surface use decent primer, suggest oil based such kilz, put on new top coat.

2 moisture, either high moisture content in wall before or after painting soon, in case suggest nnot using bathroom @ (for showering) 24 hours b4 or 48 hours after giving wall plenty of time dry b4 , paint plenty of time cure after.


3 cheap paint, cant stress enough paint, pay for, if bought paint @ walmart, happens, lowes , home depot have poor ok paint, suggest buying paint place paint business, ie benjamin moore dealers, sherwin williams, porter, or others, pprefer paints in order, dont use cheap paint anymore if case.

4 dust on wall. in case use broom know off , vacuum pick dust b4 painting, 1 unlikely take quite bit of dust build-up make paint fail.

in case you careful pull , sand off loose paint or netxt coat fail stick last coat , not wall.
