Cycle gears?

on commuting bike smallest rear sprocket 14 tooth. if change 12 tooth sprocket 17% higher gearing, if change 11 27% higher. when new rear cassette check range of existing 1 is, if change 14-32 11-25 find going hill lot harder. try similar count large sprocket.

i new cycling have bought myself bike , use commuting find in highest gear 3 -7 when going downhill gear hope makes sense, question can chage gearing on rear sprocket , if how easy .
