Visual effects degree or networking degree?

have been drawing since kid of course lol real passion grew motion picture screenplays, djing, producing art imagine myself doing visual effects , motion picture..it's in field can adapt guess im scared if in it. computers had fun when y ounger putting stuff together. have little experience in field of networking im not sure. friend says @ , of them chimed in computers outsourcing not sure if id decent paying one. atleast visual effects id love doing @ same time wouldnt able money or job prospects arent high degree plus im in midwest now. help!
