Printer Problem?

question bit vague. i'm guessing bring laptop , print both work , home. answer 'no'. although 2 printers identical, , drivers identical, software printer locked on specific printer @ time of installation (locks on serial number or chip number, depends on manufacturer). example, on "printers" directory, see brother dcp-330, , brother dcp-330(1), have choose 1 default printer everytime. hope answers question.

i have 2 identical printers, brother dcp-330. 1 stationed @ work , 1 @ home. can have 1 setting, can use 2 printers on same frequency without having change settings everytime?
