I'm very unsure - what career and school courses should I take up?

(warning: lots , lots of detail ahead)

transferred new school grade 11. partly because felt last high school wasn't encouraging, i've never thought career-related stuff during first 2 high school years. i'm in funded , supported school, i've been stressing out want future. given course choices right after registered few days before school started, made bad decisions since, again, didn't know wanted take. have go classes don't want whole semester, , many classes want switch @ full capacity next semester.

think i'd become musician. took basic music classes in past , have experience playing clarinet, @ point think might not work out because don't own instruments , i'd have take prerequisite courses, don't have lot of time or room in timetables before graduate.

thought of visual arts or graphics design-related work. know traditional artists have difficulty making living out of that, won't go that. i'm pretty interested in latter, don't know how money can made out of that. also, having take prerequisites related courses , stuff make little room other ones...

think it's possible change directions , go medicine-oriented work. know courses must taken, honest, i'm not interested in field anyways. considered because think can successful if pretty in school.

thing wonder this: how other people decide in lives law, biology, carpentry or bunch of other "professional" careers? seems want artsy kind of stuff, it's want anyways. think have artistic ability, however. else think doctors, accountants , of them benefit society, while arts , sports stuff not, (but know athletes can make lot of money).

i'm pretty unsure on whether should go make me lots of money or i'd have fun or feel doing, , can't find balance in-between. no 1 in family has attended university , first one, need find out want do. parents want me kind of doctor or engineer... that's alright, again, don't know.

talk guidance counsellor every week , tries me decide, kind of sucks going there talk think want , changing mind lot. want make definite decision.
