numbering schemes vary company company - @ firm work, numbers pulled database, , include both letters *and* numbers.

guess drawing not reflect exact day drawing made (what if firm drew more 1 component on day?) perhaps reflects year (and possibly month) , numbers drawings sequentially (10th drawing made in august of 1993, 21st drawing made in december of 1993).

of course, numbers arbitrary well. if that's case, you're best off trying contact company manufactured/designed part, , inquiring further.
