I'm from San Francisco. Should I move to Canada?
guy complaining spend 60% of our incomes towards healthcare taxes.... that's wrong! average 9-10% of our national income. , considering average operation can cost 30-50,000 dollars, it's small price pay have security of healthcare. had jaw surgery , going in again ~ totals have been 100,000 dollars if didn't live in great country proper healthcare provided without prejudice.

pay little more in taxes , how more out of it. we're still lower other countries.
politics here in canada more "liberal" in sense have gay marriage etc., our current government conservative.
notes differences: part of commonwealth, means though our own country our own constitution, share many things in common uk, australia etc. queen elizabeth ii our queen (but in symbolic way).

tend value knowledge of other nations , cultures our own, , our education system reflects that. have 2 official languages (english , french) , french immersion offered in provinces across canada.
we're noted our love of comedy , political satire. our national sport hockey, although not it. ppl have love of outdoors , have many spectacular national , provincial parks. have many of same chocolate (candy) bars uk opposed us, , quite variation of other foods well.
if you're thinking making move, suggest vancouver similar sf in terms of nightlife, environment etc. vancouver has more milder winters rest of canada, , it's closest can sf if want go visit. typically regarded multicultural country (esp. vancouver , toronto), rural areas of canada caucasian part.
