Regarding my new job... was I right or wrong??

live in bronx, got emt job in brooklyn , take subway there, 2 hr commute. training 7am until 3pm, ends @ 7"pm", home @ 9pm, eat/make dinner hour, give myself hour take care of after work obligations (i.e. family), try sleep not enough, have @ 4am.

yesterday, spoke some1 , said there possibly 2nd training shift starts little later in morning. today called real inquire person knows doesnt come in until "7am" person had spoken suggested wait until , call back. did , told guy , hes trying twist words around saying "ok, didnt come in today because tired", told him.... (last part below)
