Ceiling paint v. wall paint?

alot of ceiling paints add touch of tallow blue or lamp bl;ack formula of white hiding purposes..this how claim "hi hiding'...the formula sherwin willimas additive b-2...which black..and 2 parts colorant many gallons..this 5 gallon additive... notice on alot of ceiling paints appear slight grey when applying , go white when dried..this because of lamp black added original white formula hiding purposes.. compoundly, makes no difference if use wall paint on ceilings or not..depending on brand both have same acrylics , polymers of particular brand...

what difference between wall paint , ceiling paint? can't use remaining wall paint?
also, should prime ceiling before painting? it's textured ceiling, not popcorn.
