Cadillac or Volkswagen?

assume you're talking older used cars.

experience son's used cars tells me caddy easier work on, , parts cheaper. old v8's run forever if keep oil in them.

yes vw easier on gas.

if drive lot, vw might better choice. low mileage, i'd take cadillac.

i'm thinking of getting cadillac seville or getting volkswagen passat. seville has v8 engine , big car. passat economical , easy repair. should get?
