Theater blues?

i'm senior in high school. didn't involved in drama until last year , i've found it. ever since last year i've wanted minor lead or sort of significant speaking or singing part in play or musical. thing is, last year has gone without of things happening. don't plan on being theater major, can shake disappointment , maybe land myself in production can achieve goal? feel i've missed chance , never got show off acting.
