I NEED HELP WITH MY Sony -BRAVIA 1000W 5.1-Channel Home Theater System ?

have sony-bravia home system. connected regular cable-box ( white, red, yellow cables) direct lcd tv or home theater system, additional optical cable may required if have hd cable-box. locate of lcd tv find audio output, neither white,red, color or hd optical cable. tv audio output connects straight home theater system.

i need installing home theater 37" lcd vizio don't know how audio can watch regular tv using home theater's speakers. have ps3 , works fine don't know if need optical audio cable can watch tv please me driving me crazy.
