Help with PC MONITOR ???

problem is when watching dvd's on monitor screen bright. if there black screen on still bright. have tried ajusting screen brightness doesnt make difference.(it's not monitor bad as,it has contrast range of 3000:1 , screen resolution of 1680*1050.

About a 2008 outback trailer harness install?
