Will library books spread disease?

if take reasonable precautions not spread disease. there no studies show library books spread disease.

when in school library , here in public library have volunteers wipe down covers of children's books @ least every other month.

when books returned dirty covers dry , clean them before placing them on shelves. week had summer teen volunteers clean covers of audio books.

oh, , please don't put books in mouth.

like cold , flu? books going through lot of hands, kids. out break link books?
