if history taught nothing, bother learning in school? history teaches us, secondhandedly, serious consequences mistakes can have. if listen tales of others througout history, can learn without experience (how amazing!) famous person (sorry can't remember who) once said "experience hardest teacher-- gives test first, lesson afterwards." well. guess see history cheat sheet. learn others' mistakes, successes, , motivations-- gives strength without scars!
