Does God have a law against sculpture?

god has nothing against sculpture, worship of false idols, such golden calf.

case in point. numbers 21:4-9.
mount hor set out on red sea road, by-pass land of edom. patience worn out journey,
5 people complained against god , moses, "why have brought egypt die in desert, there no food or water? disgusted wretched food!" 6 in punishment lord sent among people saraph serpents, bit people many of them died. 7 people came moses , said, "we have sinned in complaining against lord , you. pray lord take serpents us." moses prayed people, 8 , lord said moses, "make saraph , mount on pole, , if has been bitten looks @ it, recover." 9 moses accordingly made bronze serpent , mounted on pole, , whenever had been bitten serpent looked @ bronze serpent, recovered.

case god ordered making of sculpture. earlier, in exodus, there's case when god directs creation of ark of covenant, instructs moses create 2 cherebum place on top.

also, in solomon's temple, god blessed temple , within it, including several statues.

injunction against graven images keep worshipping false gods. not apply religious statues , icons used visualize read in bible, such images of annunciation or nativity, nor apply pictures , statues of holy men , women, saints, in heaven, lifting prayers god. same having picture of favorite grandparent or aunt or uncle, or other friend or loved one.

if not, real meaning of injunction against graven images?
