Why do catholics pray to images and sculptures of saints when the bible clearly states not to?

alot of writing catholics dont pray these images...

heard sooooo many people pray virgin mary pray god..

example "please virgin mary bless in need ... or things that..

these saints human... may have been great people why should pray has passed away... if asking help... dead... not christ lived after death... normal human beings die , me...

have no power after death...

if think it... havent got heaven yet...

they'll there same time else will...

trying understand catholic point of view think ill stick opinion , 1 according bible...

isnt idolatry???
