Oil paint, brushes, and paint thinner question.?

i've been using acrylics while , wanted try out oil paint. know it's whole nother world, anyway, question is, can clean brushes removing excess paint , dipping whole brush in bottle of sansodor? i'm suppose since paint remnants sink bottom? haven't done yet,it thought. also, how long take paint dry if i'm using sansador thin paint, says on label takes longer mineral spirits.
