have 1994 nissan maxima has started acting up. check engine light came on, bought haynes manual check pcm trouble codes. came 55 (no error) , check engine light went off. however, blink 3 times, remain off few seconds, blink again. i've read on internet blinking check engine light indicates serious problem, i'm not if should continue driving car.
