Whats a good first car? Mini Cooper, Honda Civic, Honda Fit, or Scion tc?

wow 15 , commuting 60 miles everyday?!

ok - used own honda civic. nice reliable car gets gas mileage , pretty in snow.

sold car in-laws kids , bought mini. if doing highway driving (in , out of traffic) need s- horsepower pretty important , regular transmission didn't have pick-up wanted. price of car however.

run flat tires on mini excellent feature. if flat, can still drive 50 miles (at lower speed). mini tires though, because run flats, tend go flat more frequently. plus reason run flats there isn't room spare. mini, there lot less room. minimal trunk space , enough room small dog in backseat!

mini super-reinforced , safer civic. have done crash tests mini has done well.

mini flashy , noticed not practical civic.
