not monitor. sounds computer stops loading software , locks on black screen. try using monitor on computer , see monitor works fine. can try monitor on dell , should see same problem. try leaving computer on blank screen 5-10 minuets , see if error "no os" or operating system not found" if see errors, may have bad hard drive, or os has been deleted, try restoring backup cd's if don't have data on hard drive important. if still under warranty, call dell.

when sister turns on computer monitor not turn on way! loads says dell nothing appears why this?
