91 mazda truck not firing?

i'm trying figure out 1991 mazda b2600i truck fuel injected 2.6 engine. problem started out after ran while die , quit getting fire out of coil. after few days started running minute or 2 no fire. coil fires 3 times before stops sending fire. have wait several hours before can repeat , coil fire again. ideas? several mechanics have looked @ no luck yet. trying narrow down problem parts on truck quite expensive. thing has been changed far ignitor. , coil passed tests outlined in service manual.
