Is there anybody else that kinda... erg... "despise" those so-called "talent" reality shows?

(okay, may long) mean shows idol, x-factor, america/britain's got talent etc? may claim "talent" competitions people know takes more talent run shows. not represent real music industry. many times, people passed auditions have story or behind them can keep ratings high. singers amazing gifts overlooked and/or rejected shows because regardless of how sing, aren't show looking combine other contestants. it’s playing field. notice how finals “carefully selected” none look/sound same others. if finalists look/sound same, show won’t interesting anymore, have choose want ratings. face it, as want believe shows “talent” competitions, tv business more else. if don't ratings, don't stay on air. not of contestants suck. have talents , gifted singers/performers kelly clarkson, carrie underwood, jennifer hudson etc. part, these shows nothing more tv business mean ratings. (esp. if viewers vote take account, can guarantee result purely based on quality , not popularity contest?)

, other must comment dancing stars. okay, may not real talent competition. it’s made merely fun. before joining dwts, professional dancers had been competing in of prestigious dance competitions in world. karina smirnoff, before joining dwts, #1 female ballroom dancer in world. has won numerous competitions i.e. national, world trophy, asian open, uk open, open, blackpool etc. 1st woman ever make british professional final 3 different partners. kind of resume, think stay there good, no!!! instead chose join dwts nothing compared dance competitions. may more money , fame dwts (and still dancing anyway it’s not she’s giving dancing good). dwts not on same prestige blackpool or latin ballroom. it’s 3 steps down , me, that’s shame coz smirnoff’s such great dancer , departure dance competitions such loss dancing world.

see, objection towards “talent” reality shows not based on fact it’s staged, because think shows “degenerate” world of art. it’s no longer art and/or talents, it’s more entertainment , ratings. , often, shows have “tone down” art appeal more large mass because audience don’t want bored. want entertainment.
