need more specific. 1 can study specific philosopher--for example, plato, nietzche, kant, hegel. or, 1 study history of philosophy (i.e., how ideas have changed or moved forms on time). @ given period--greek, medieval, modern, contemporary. @ forms of logic--symbolic, deductive, fuzzy, etc. seek understand subject philosophically--for example, philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, philosophy of religion, etc.

currently, realm of philosophy has 2 strands. first analytic philosophy; second continental philosophy.

need figure out area seek know better , guide you. luck.
