have high school diploma or general education development (ged) certificate or pass exam approved u.s. department of education.
enrolled or accepted enrollment regular student working toward degree or certificate in eligible program @ school participates in federal student aid programs.
not have drug conviction offense occurred while receiving federal student aid (such grants, loans, or work-study)

must not owe refund on federal grant or in default on federal student loan.

question on fafsa regarding drug offenses asks convictions possessing or selling illegal drugs (not including alcohol , tobacco) if offense occurred during period of enrollment receiving federal student aid (grants, loans, and/or work-study). when answering question, not count convictions have been removed record. also, not count convictions occurred before turned 18, unless tried adult.

after fill out drug conviction worksheet, responses result in 1 of these answers:

answer means
1, no eligible. eligibility federal student aid not affected.
2, yes (partially during year) partially eligible. become eligible federal aid during school year. can become eligible earlier in school year if complete acceptable drug rehabilitation program.
3, yes/don’t know ineligible / don't know. not eligible federal aid school year unless complete acceptable drug rehabilitation program. may still eligible state , school aid.

if not eligible federal aid, may eligible state aid or aid school financial aid. if become eligible federal financial aid (for example, if eligibility date arrives or if complete acceptable drug rehabilitation program), notify financial aid administrator @ school. if convicted of possessing or selling drugs after submit fafsa, must notify financial aid administrator immediately. lose eligibility , required pay aid received after conviction. :

i don't know if person sure felon or has misdemeanor, lives in minnesota , lot of stupid things because believes can't go school free , want know if can because feel sorry her.
