Question about painting my laptop?

like, laptop paint chipping... , bought couple bottles of spray paint paint it.

want paint simple picture on (just outline of animal)

i'm going paint spot white, put stencil on it, , paint around stencil (the rest of computer) black.

should have white paint in 1 area? or should paint whole thing white first, , put black? or save white paint, , paint spot white. going have weird gray spot after layer black paint on it?
