How do we advertise a "military" garage sale?

daughter going off basic training in june, , presumably graduate in august. 14 hour drive, , have severe ms, need fly graduation. (not going not option.) so, having garage sale raise money. neighbors donating things,etc. left on money go operation family fund, non-profit organization families of soldiers killed.

so...is okay advertise garage sale way? not asking handouts, want increase traffic. taking airfare garage sale-we cover rest of expenses ourselves.

or advertise regular old garage sale , leave alone?
