Someone please help me analyze "Eating Poetry" by Mark Strand?
ink runs corners of mouth.
there no happiness mine.
have been eating poetry.
librarian not believe sees.
eyes sad
, walks hands in dress.
poems gone.
light dim.
dogs on basement stairs , coming up.
eyeballs roll,
blond legs bum brush.
poor librarian begins stamp feet , weep.
not understand.
when on knees , lick hand,
screams.
new man.
snarl @ , bark.
romp joy in bookish dark.
basic part of poem-basically man eat poems in library, mystifies librarian, , turns dog, can give me more info? thanks!
