My 1997 Nissan Altima SE won't start?

of sudden car shut off on me while driving, there no problems car noticeable, shut off. have had in shop , nissan tech said should nissan spark plug wires. after shut off on me doesn't start up, tries turn on doesn't start. bought new battery , replaced positive/negative terminal. wondering if spark plug wires problem , how check see if problem or if has other suggestions why doesn't start that'd nice to.
