Where does the surname Plaud come from?
www.familysearch.org
give list of different locations has been found, including germany , france. 1 right depends on tracing ancestor , finding came from. way.. genealogy tracing person, , not name.
many times, name comes variation of name. example, name dauphinais french canadian.. after immigration, wound being dolphay / dolfay. no 1 spell or pronounce dauphinais. says.. dolphay has no meaning.
and, clue.. names not have valid coats of arms. awarded persons, not families or names. vendors sell these, verging on crap. common ones not belong name, that's business, , don't tell facts. not when trying sell (which misleading start with).
