try re-install.

(1) power down computer
(2) disconnect printer
(3) power computer
(4) delete printer printer list
(5) uninstall printer related software
-----------------------------------
if have disk came printer use ... if not go hp website printer support , latest drivers
------------------------------------
(6) re-install according directions
sure install software has drivers scanner.

guessing ... attempt @ fix.

ok printer hp officejet 6210 in 1 series. reason can print stuff, cant scan stuff onto comp. says printer not connected , stuff, though is... advice?
